How to enable browser notification permissions

Follow these steps to allow notifications from https://naproxy.com on your browser.


Google Chrome

  1. When the notification prompt appears:

    • Visit https://naproxy.com.

    • A pop-up will appear at the top-left corner saying "This site wants to show notifications".

    • Click Allow.

  2. If you accidentally blocked the prompt:

    • Click the Lock icon (or Site info icon) in the address bar (left of the URL).

    • Under Permissions > Notifications, select Allow from the dropdown.

    • Refresh the page.

  3. Manual settings (if no prompt appears):

    • Click ⋮ (Three dots) > Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings > Notifications.

    • Under Allow, check if https://naproxy.com is listed. If not, add it manually.


Microsoft Edge

  1. Initial prompt:

  2. Adjust via address bar:

    • Click the Lock icon or Page info icon in the address bar.

    • Set Notifications to Allow.

  3. Manual setup:

    • Go to ••• (Settings) > Cookies and site permissions > Notifications.

    • Under Allow, add https://naproxy.com if missing.


Mozilla Firefox

  1. Initial request:

  2. Update permissions later:

    • Click the 🛡️ Shield icon in the address bar.

    • Under Permissions > Receive Notifications, select Allow.

  3. Via browser settings:

    • Open ☰ Menu > Settings > Privacy & Security.

    • Scroll to Permissions > Settings next to Notifications.

Safari (macOS only)

  1. Enable notifications in Safari:

  2. If the prompt was blocked:

    • Visit https://naproxy.com.

    • Click Safari > Settings for This Website in the menu bar.

    • Check Enable Notifications.

  3. Ensure macOS system permissions:

    • Go to System Settings > Notifications.

    • Scroll to Safari and ensure notifications are enabled.

  • Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.

  • For Safari, notifications require macOS 10.14.4 or later.
